Meet the Team.
I have run a successful family construction business since 1979 that has completed a host of residential, commercial and industrial projects around Sydney, and continues to do so.
Prior to 1979 I worked with Meriton Developments following the successful completion of my studies [carpentry, joinery, building studies]. Those qualifications have brought dividends over the years although set a standard in terms of training that regretfully I don’t always see repeated.
My level of expertise has allowed me in more recent years to be engaged as an expert within the industry. I provide reports on a variety of projects, including many in the rising number of residential unit claims that populate NCAT, the District as well as Supreme Court.
As well as my Court roles, I act as consultant to other professions within the industry, including consulting engineers, assisting them in the consideration of construction techniques or services specific to particular projects.
In addition to my involvement in various parts of the private sector side of the industry, I have been engaged by local governments and public utilities to advise on or carry our specialist work on a number of difficult projects in and around Sydney.

- Sydney Water [Malabar] – repair concrete cancer to multi storey office block
- SMEG Australia [CEO] – repair and refurbish two storey heritage residence
- Work Cover [Lavender Bay] – engaged by Work Cover to rectify unsafe worksite to underpin a four storey building
- Kirribilli Unit Block – repair concrete cancer to fifteen storey building
- Birchgrove – design and construct two, four storey town house
Prior to 2009 I worked with Kell & Rigby Builders constructing a number of commercial, residential and health care facilities. With the success of my qualifications and the knowledge gained I moved to the residential sector where I have successfully run my own construction company which is still operating to date.
My knowledge and expertise has seen me sort after by a number of organisations and individuals as their preferred provider for building and consultation requirements.
My commercial building background delivers an understanding of the often complex challenges of today’s constructions. My CPD learning and ongoing presence within it gives me a solid grasp of modern technologies, techniques and practices highly sort after in the community.
